Over the years Clean Food Mama has evolved from a clean eating blog to an online plant-based resource, but my mission remains steadfast – to passionately support women on their health journeys, helping them reach their goals and cultivate a nourishing lifestyle for their families. Not only did it help me shed over 170 pounds and help me heal my relationship with food, but it also allowed my husband to reverse his diabetes. Supporting him became a family affair, and almost 4 years later, it's one of the best decisions we've made. My husband was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabates, and his doctor suggested he go plant-based. Then, in 2019, I created Clean Food Mama to share the recipes we were making in our own kitchen.įast forward to 2020. We started adopting a clean eating lifestyle. In 2013, after some of my family was diagnosed with health issues, I knew we needed to make a change. It has been a rollercoaster of ups and downs. It's a privilege to love on them and be a part of giving them the better life they truly deserve.Īlmost 11 years ago, my personal health journey began. My days are spent in a multigenerational life surrounded by our amazing farm animals, many of whom are rescues.
